SUPPORT MEASURES OF YOUTH PROGRAMME

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS TO MANAGE INTERNATIONAL YOUTH NETWORKING

A pilote training to empower participants to develop essential skills for networking,

understand their potential, manage time, and achieve their goals.

Multilateral training course aims to enable youth workers and youth leaders active or interested in international youth work to develop essential skills for european and euromediterranean networking and to act them as trainers or multipliers for new youth projects.

Based on the most recent leadership research in emotional and experential learning, the program focuses on a selfawareness-based learning process to enhance networking capacities and interpersonal skills. Participants in this project will consist of youth leaders, youth workers, youth officers and others in local and national governmental structures, from various countries (Belgium, Greece, France, Italy, Malta, Spain, Romania, Liban, Palestine, Tunisia).

PREPARATORY TEAM

The training programme is designed and delivered by an international team of trainers with extensive and specialist experience in intercultural team work, leadership development and experiential learning.

Pr of i l e of par t i ci pant s The course will bring together participants who are:

 motivated youth leaders and workers, project leaders, trainers, NGO representatives and other multipliers who are already involved in youth projects;

 experienced youth workers, project leaders and other multipliers who would like to introduce or strengthen a focus on youth networking.

In general all applicants should be:

 actively involved within youth or cultural non-governmental organisations, associations and initiatives or within relevant governmental organisations, institutions and agencies in Europe;

 motivated to contribute to the course and share experiences in the field of international youth work;

 experienced in non-formal education practices;

 in the position to act as multipliers in organisations and projects at local, national and European level after the course;

 able to work and communicate in French or in English; Financial and practical conditions of participation
Accomodation

The organisers will take in charge your accommodation in Belgium only for the dates of the course: from 16 to 22 september (6 nights) in Hotel

You will be housed in twin bed rooms with private bathroom. Please, note that if you have no idea of roommate, we will make you share your apartment with another participant.

Travel expenses

Travel expenses and visa fees are reimbursed (on presentation of the relevant receipts) according to the rules of the Youth Programme Action 5 support measures (70% international travel costs). Local transfert from Brussels airport (aéroport / gare : Zaventem - bruxelles) to Viroinval is provided by our organisation.

Conditions for the travel reimbursement of participation

the reimbursement of the participants’ travel expenses (only on the basis of economical fare : APEX-STUDENTS FARE- etc. ) will be done after the end of the course and after Civitas Solis will be receive :

 The original tickets (neither copies, nor lists) with the receipt from the travel agency, particurarly that issued the tickets, in the case the price of each ticket is not registered clearly on it.

 A copy of each participant’s passport or identity card.

Enrolment fee

An enrolment fee of 40 Euros is payable by each participant. This amount will either be deducted from the amount to be reimbursed for travel expenses, or paid at Plate Forme Jeunesse during the course.

Si è concluso con un bilancio positivo un corso di formazione internazionale sulle competenze e sulle attitudini personali per gestire reti di partenariato europeo, nel quale sono stati coinvolti come attori chiave una serie di organizzazioni sociali calabresi. L’iniziativa realizzatesi in Belgio a cura del Comune di Viroinval in collaborazione con la provincia di Namur e la Commissione Europea ha avuto tra i partner l’associazione Civitas Solis e la Federazione Mediterraneo & Ambiente.
Il corso al quale hanno preso parte rappresentanti di enti ed organizzazioni di circa dieci paesi europei ed extraeuropei è stato inoltre diretto, su incarico dell’ente belga, dal calabrese Francesco Mollace, trainer internazionale e consulente di organizzazione e sviluppo delle risorse umane, tra i maggiori specialisti nella gestione di team di lavoro interculturali.

Obiettivo dello stage, durato una settimana, è stato il miglioramento delle competenze personali dei partecipanti nella gestione di processi di rete e nello sviluppo di una leadership partecipativa.

I partecipanti oltre alle attività di formazione hanno avuto la possibilità, durante la permanenza in Belgio, di avere incontri istituzionali ai massimi livelli per un confronto sui temi del corso, dalla Camera dei Deputati belga al Parlamento Europeo, alla Regione vallone e all’amministrazione Provinciale di Namur.

L’attività è stata presentata ufficialmente a Bruxelles alla Camera dei deputati del Belgio (la chambre des representants) dal primo vicepresidente della Camera il deputato Jean Marc Delizee, che nel presentare l’iniziativa anche nella sua veste di ex sindaco di Viroinval, ha sottolineato il ruolo che le reti di relazion internazionali hanno oggi nella costruzione di una europa sociale. Successivamente i partecipanti hanno visitato il Parlamento europeo per una serie di incontri istituzionali. Qui sono stati ricevuti dall’onorevole Gianni Pittella, relatore generale per il bilancio comunitario. All’onorevole Pittella è stato chiesto ufficialmente dal gruppo dei partecipanti con in testa il presidente della federazione Medambiente Giuseppe Belcastro un aumento di fondi di bilancio per il supporto della cooperazione socioculturale nel mediterraneo. Belcastro e Mollace, anche nella veste di responsabili del Forum delle organizzazioni sociali, hanno chiesto di aumentare i fondi europei per il supporto alle attività transnazionali delle organizzazioni del terzo settore. L’onorevole Pittella ha dichiarato che presenterà uno specifico emandamento al bilancio comunitario.

In precedenza i partecipanti erano stati ricevuti dal governatore della regione vallone unitamente a tutta la giunta provinciale della provincia di Namur, splendida città del sud del Belgio.

L’evento è stato coordinato dall’organizzazione del comune belga Plateforme jeunesse presieduta dal vicesindaco Bruno Buchet. Rappresentanti dell’ente belga arriveranno, infine, nei prossimi giorni in Calabria ospiti del comune di Sant’Ilario e dell’associazione Civitas Solis nell’ambito di una attività internazionale supportata dalla Commissione Europea.

MEDAMBIENTE - Condoglianze alla famiglia Buchet

La scorsa settimana MedAmbiente ha perso un caro amico Bruno Buchet 
Un uomo di alti principi e valori morali, esempio di rettitudine e dedizione al lavoro per le future generazioni, un marito amorevole e un padre premuroso. Un uomo d'azione, un maestro di democrazia e di un pilastro per la sua comunità locale. Ci stringiamo intorno alla famiglia Buchet sussurrando le nostre condoglianze più sentite.
